ICCF World Individual Promotion Tournament – Open Class
Description
The Open Class tournament is the 1st level of ICCF Promotion tournaments. These are regularly started tournament sections where entries are continuously accepted. Open Class tournaments are offered via postal and web-server playing methods. The Open Class tournament falls under the responsibility of the Non-Title Tournaments Commissioner. If you win your section, you are eligible for entry into the next section (Higher Class).

Entry
Entry into this tournament may be made via one of two methods:
1) Contact your National Federation, or
2) For qualified players, you may enter via Direct Entry.
Selecting "Enter" will offer you the choice of entry methods.
Size - Open Class sections typically consist of 7 players
Rating - Games played in this tournament are rated for the ICCF rating list.
Qualifications
(a) a player new to ICCF or without an ICCF rating.
(b) a player rated below 1900 at the time of application.
Direct Entry Considerations
1) Your eligibility to enter via Direct Entry will depend on your country's DE programme selection.
2) Your eligibility will be verified with the following information:
a) Present ICCF status or new to ICCF
b) Country affiliation
c) Meet qualification and restriction criteria
d) Ability to pay through PayPal.
