The ICCF President is very pleased to inform the CC Community that Ron Langeveld (NED) has agreed to cancel his resignation as Qualification Commissioner.  Delegates should send to Ron their applications for titles. This will apply for Tournament Directors who should confirm norms achieved by players in the events they are directing.

Consultations are still in progress to find candidates for the Services Director position, National Federations are invited to propose nominations".

Dear delegates and chessfriends,
It is with great pleasure, that I address my sincere thanks to Petyo Marinov, President of the Bulgarian CC Federation, for the tremendous organisation of the ICCF Congress, in Pleven.

All friends who attended the 2008 Congress are unanimous that it was a memorable congress, organised perfectly and they enjoyed the cultural programme provided by the Bulgarian hosts.

I would also like to thank ICCF Honorary President, Alan Borwell, for having chaired the 2008 Congress, ICCF Honorary Member, Nol Vant´Riet and Eric Ruch for their valuable assistance, members of ICCF Management Committee and all delegates who contributed to a successful congress, even if some decisions have not satisfied everybody unable to attend!
