The winner qualifies to a WCCC Final; the players who finish in place 2, 3 or 4 qualify to a WCCC Candidates’ Tournament; all other finalists qualify to a WCCC Semifinal.

The winner has the right to take part in the final round of the next World Cup without paying any entry fee and gets the International Master title.
The other participants have the right to take part in the intermediate round of the next World Cup (ICCF Rule 3.6).

45 days of leave per year are available to each player.

Ties are broken by the Baumbach tie breaking rule (see ICCF rule 1.3.4.2).
