1st and 2nd placed players qualify for next season's Final.
The 3rd, and possibly the 4th, placed player(s) may also qualify providing the Candidate sections do not produce joint winners. (All subject to re-entry).
5th & 6th placed players (and possibly the 3rd & 4th placed players) will be relegated to the Candidates.

ICCF standard time control 10 moves in 30 days with duplication after 12 days is used.
45 days of leave per year are available to each player.
There is no special leave in this event.
This tournament allows claims based on the seven piece tablebase.
Draw offers are restricted to one offer per player every 10 moves (called the ten moves draw rule).
Ties are broken by the Baumbach tie breaking rule (see ICCF rule 1.3.4.2).
If needed, adjudicators will be selected by the TD.
