WCCC 38 Candidates’ Tournament has started!

Saturday, August 25, 2018: The 2018 WCCC Candidates’ Tournament (WCCC 38 CT) has been inserted on ICCF web-server.

Here are some highlights:

• Official start-date: September 20, 2018
• TD: IA Juan Alberto Martello (ARG)
• 3 Sections with 13 players each (i.e. 39 players)
• Category X (average rating of each Section: 2498)
• Players from 20 different countries
• 2 or 3 players from Germany and Russia and no more than 1 player from any other country in each Section
• 16 GM; 14 SIM; 5 IM; 2 CCM
• 5 or 6 GM and 4 or 5 SIM in each Section
• The winner and the runner-up of each Section (i.e. 6 players) qualify to a WCCC Final
