Qualified directly for the semi-finals as finalist of the 3rd or 4th Chess 960 WC: Banet (FRA), Tsygankov (RUS), Babic (SLO) & Korogodski (USA); as highest ELO in the preliminary round: Korze (SLO), Freeman (NZL) & Gudmundsson (ISL)
The semi-finals will start on the 15th of July 2019, with four sections of eight players.
Qualification for the final: the winner and the runner-up of each section.
