WCCC 39 Candidates’ Tournament has started!

Friday, August 9, 2019: The 2019 WCCC Candidates’ Tournament (WCCC 39 CT) has been inserted on ICCF web-server.

Here are some highlights:

• Official start-date: September 20, 2019
• TD: IA Juan Alberto Martello (ARG)
• 3 Sections with 11 players each (i.e. 33 players)
• Category X (average rating of each Section: 2496.27)
• Players from 19 different countries
• 2 or 3 players from Germany, Russia and USA and no more than 1 player from any other country in each Section
• 14 GM; 11 SIM; 7 IM
• 4 or 5 GM and 3 or 4 SIM in each Section
• The winner and the runner-up of each Section (i.e. 6 players) qualify to a WCCC Final
