Qualification requirements
Germany is delighted to announce a new tournament for Iccf players Elo 1000-1899

Important: you can play 2 tournaments with 10 games

1. German-Open (GER)

Eligibility
The 1. German Open for players Elo 1000-1899 is open to all players from the federations belonging to the Iccf and players from countries that do not have their own federation,who have Elo 1000-1899
The tournament will be organized from TO Manfred Scheiba and IA Michael Schirmer in Grup Elo 1000-1899 with the SILLI system 10 games
The tournament will be played on ICCF server.

Entries
All entries have to go through the sever – they cannot be sent via email ! Players may enter via the ICCF Direct Entry system or they can be entered on the server as NF Entries! Entries should be made via the server from the “New events-Germany page.
Closing date for Direct Entry is 17th october 2024
Closing date for NF entries is 15 th october 2024

Entry fee for Direct Entry system is 8,50 Euro (in the case of NF Entries, this is the responsibility of NF).

Prizes
Electronic certificates will be awarded for the first 20 places.

The 1. German Open for players Elo 1000-1899 will start on 25th october 2024
This is a server event.
There is no end date.
ICCF standard time control 10 moves in 50 days with duplication after 20 days is used.
45 days of leave per year are available to each player.
There is no special leave in this event.
Linear conditionals can be entered. This tournament allows claims based on the seven piece tablebase.
The event will be rated and if the criteria are met, Iccf title norms will be possible to achieve
1.3.4.2.2.Tie -breaking If a tie persists after the standard tie-breaking procedures: (f)If the tie ( a-e) still remains, the order is determined by the higher rating (fixed or unfixed) in previous ranting lists until broken. If needed, adjudicators will be selected by the server.

Players with an RD of 150 or less have to be rated 1000 or above.
Players with an RD of 150 or less have to be rated 1899 or below.
Players with an RD of more than 150 have to be rated 1000 or above.
Players with an RD of more than 150 have to be rated 1899 or below.
