Qualification requirements
The Cuban Correspondence Chess Federation (FECAP) - is organizing the "CaribbeanTropical Sun" International Open Tournament for the participation of all ICCF players

The Tournament will be played in a single phase with several Sections using rating 1/25 under all ICCF Rules.

This Section C is for players rated 2000 to 2299.

The tournament will be played in a single Robin Round on the ICCF server at triple block time control for a 350 days event, with 75 days initial bank and 1 day increment for the first 50 moves.

The game system allows up to two registrations by player.

Registered players, grouped by rating from higher to lower, will be allocated in groups of 11, 13 or 15 players so that all group members have a similar rating. The player's second registration will be paired in the following group.

The tournament will be rated and valid to obtain the norms for ICCF titles in all groups.

This tournament will award certificates to the top 3 players in each group.

The registration fee is €9 euros via Direct Entry.

Registrations must be received no later than March 10, 2025

The start date of the tournament is March 30, 2025.
