Qualification requirements
Entry into an Aspirers tournament is offered to:
(a) a player rated 1599 or below at the time of application.
(b) a player new to ICCF or without an ICCF rating and providing he or she does not declare a FIDE rating of 1600 or above.
Players have to be rated 1599 or below.
Games will be rated and whilst there is no promotion or relegation, this is a good place to start with the aim to learn and improve in a tournament environment. Some players may then wish to move towards the ICCF Open class promotion tournaments. Existing players rated less than 1600 are also welcome to play in this tournament.
