Der Sieger der 55 DFM erhält den Titel "Deutscher Fernschachmeister 2023/2025", sowie einen Pokal und eine Urkunde.
Die Spieler auf dem 2. und 3. Platz erhalten eine Urkunde und eine Medaille.

Der erste und zweite Platz in der Endrunde erhält den Titel "Nationaler Fernschachmeister - Gold", sofern die FWZ mindestens 2250 beträgt.
Der dritte und vierte Platz in der Endrunde erhält den Titel "Nationaler Fernschachmeister - Silber", sofern die FWZ mindestens 2150 beträgt.
Der fünfte und sechste Platz in der Endrunde erhält den Titel "Nationaler Fernschachmeister - Bronze", sofern die FWZ mindestens 2050 beträgt.

This is a server event.

ICCF standard time control 10 moves in 40 days is used.
If a player exceeds allowed thinking time in any way, the player will automatically be scored with a loss. Under some circumstances all of the player’s games will subsequently be cancelled (if not already rated).
30 days of leave per year are available to each player.
Special leave can be requested from the TD.
Linear conditionals can be entered.
This tournament allows claims based on the seven piece tablebase.
Draw offers are restricted to one offer per player every 10 moves (called the ten moves draw rule).
Ties are broken by the Sonneborn-Berger tie breaking rule.
If needed, adjudicators will be selected by the TD.
