Alfredo Cillóniz 1939-2015
El jugador peruano de ajedrez correspondencia mas prolífico y exitoso con 1,464 partidas terminadas y cuatro títulos de Campeón Nacional. Obtuvo los títulos de Maestro Internacional y Maestro Internacional Senior en ICCF en los años 2001 y 2002 respectivamente. Su rating más alto fue de 2531 en el 2004. Presidente de nuestra Liga Nacional en el 2010 y Capitán del Equipo Nacional en muchas ocasiones incluyendo aquella especial donde se obtuvo el primer lugar en el Campeonato Panamericano por Equipos # 10. Nos dejó en el 2015 pero permanecerá por siempre en nuestro corazones.

The most prolific and successful peruvian correspondence chess player, with 1,464 finished games and four National Champion titles. Obtained the International and Senior International Master titles in 2001 and 2002 respectively. His highest rating was 2531 in 2004. President of our National League in 2010 and National Team Captain in many occasions including the time when we won the 10th Panamerican Team Championship. He left us in 2015 but will always remain in our hearts.

ICCF standard time control 10 moves in 50 days with doubling after 20 days is used.
If a player exceeds allowed thinking time in any way, the player will automatically be scored with a loss. Under some circumstances all of the player’s games will subsequently be cancelled (if not already rated).
45 days of leave per year are available to each player.

Linear conditionals can be entered.
This tournament allows claims based on the six piece tablebase.
Draw offers are essentially restricted to one offer per player per game (called the Code of Conduct draw rule). See 2017 Playing Rules-Server 2d and/or TD Manual-Server 11.3.3 for details.
Ties are broken by the Baumbach tie breaking rule (see ICCF rule 1.3.4.2).
