Ladies WCCC Final # 11 and Semifinals # 12

The Final of the 11th Ladies WCCC and the Semi-Finals of the 12th Ladies WCCC have been inserted on ICCF web-server.

Here are some highlights:

LWCCC 11 Final:

- 11 players
- Category IV (average rating: 2333)
- Players from 8 different countries
- 1 IM and LGM; 8 LGM; 1 LIM

LWCCC 12 Semi-Finals:

- 3 Sections with 11 players each (i.e. 33 players)
- Minor Category K (average rating of each Section: 2205 or 2206)
- Players from 15 different countries
- 2 or 3 players from Russia, 1 or 2 players from GER, no more than 1 player from any other country in each Section
- 7 LGM and 10 LIM

QUALIFICATIONS TO THE FINAL OF 12th LWCCC

The Final of the 12th LWCCC will be played by:
a) the best three players in the Final of the 11th LWCCC and
b) the two best players of each Semi-Final of the 12th LWCCC who have not yet earned a qualification under a) and
c) the two best players of all the Semi-Finals of the 12th LWCCC who have not yet earned a qualification under a) and b) (*)

If one or more players declines to play the Final, they will be replaced according to these criteria:

1) the 3rd best player of all the Semi-Finals of the 12th LWCCC who have not yet earned a qualification (*)
2) the 4th best player in the Final of the 11th LWCCC
3) the 4th best player of all the Semi-Finals of the 12th LWCCC who have not yet earned a qualification (*)
4) the 5th best player of all the Semi-Finals of the 12th LWCCC who have not yet earned a qualification (*)
5) the 6th best player of all the Semi-Finals of the 12th LWCCC who have not yet earned a qualification (*)
6) the 5th placed player in the Final of the 11th LWCCC who have not yet earned … and so on.

(*) Tie-break criteria: 1) Percentage of points; 2) Baumbach tie-break; 3) SB.
