"I’m sorry it’s taken me so long to respond, but I’d like to thank you sincerely for the beautiful flowers and kind condolences you sent to George’s memorial service in January.  We held a lovely gathering of family and friends in Kirkcaldy to celebrate George’s life and achievements, and everyone appreciated the many tributes and messages we received from around the world.  It was a very sad occasion, but we took great comfort from the respect in which George was held.  Thank you again for your generosity."
