The 2018 WCCC Semi-Finals (WCCC 42 SF)

Saturday, May 26, 2018: have started!

The 2018 WCCC Semi-Finals (WCCC 42 SF) have been inserted on ICCF web-server.

Here are some highlights:

- Official start-date: June 20, 2018

- TD: IA Valery Igorevich Myakutin (RUS)

- 7 Sections with 15 players each (i.e. 105 players)

- Category VIII (average rating of all Sections: 2435)

- Players from 37 different countries

- 2 or 3 players from Germany, 1 or 2 players from Russia and no more than 1 player from any other country in each Section

- 8 GM; 31 SIM; 36 IM; 21 CCM; 1 LGM

- The winner and the runner-up of each Section (i.e. 14 players) qualify to a WCCC Candidates’ Tournament
