Qualified directly for the semi-finals as finalist of the 5th Chess 960 WC: Voll (RUS), Tsygankov (RUS) & Muljadi (USA); as highest ELO in the preliminary round: Korze (SLO) & Lupo (ITA)
The semi-finals will start on the 1st of April 2020, with four sections of eight players.
Qualification for the final: the winner and the runner-up of each section.
