- 11 Sections with 15 players each (163 players + 2 double entries)
- Average rating of players in any Section: 2343
- Players from 45 different countries
- 3 players from Germany and no more than 1 player from any other country in each Section
- 4 GM; 18 SIM; 49 IM; 54 CCM; 16 CCE; 1 LGM
- The winner and the runner-up of each Section (i.e. 22 players) qualify for a WCCC Semi-Final
