The event was category 10, and only 12 games of 136 were decisive (circa 9 percent, sic).

 

The winner of the tournament and a new European champion is Wolfgang Zugrav from Austria who won 3 games (unbeaten). The silver medal goes to Norbert Sommerbauer, also from Austria. The third place is taken by Iñigo De Carlos Arregui (Spain)
