• 6 Sections with 13 players each (78 players)
• Average rating of players in any Section: 2425.84 or 2425.92
• Players from 30 different countries
• 1 or 2 players from Germany and the USA and no more than 1 player from the other countries in each Section
• 6 GM; 18 SIM; 38 IM; 14 CCM; 1 LGM
• The winner and the runner-up of each Section (i.e. 12 players) qualify to a WCCC Candidates’ Tournament, provided that they have obtained a positive result
