Here are some highlights:

• Official start-date: June 20, 2024
• TD: Sections 1-6: IA Valery Igorevich Myakutin; Sections 7-8: IA Bianor Neves de Oliveira
• 8 Sections with 15 players each (120 players)
• Average rating of players in any Section: 2422
• Players from 39 different countries
• 1 or 2 players from Germany and no more than 1 player from the other countries in each Section
• 8 GM; 22 SIM; 47 IM; 40 CCM; 2 CCE
• The winner and the runner-up of each Section (i.e. 16 players) qualify to a WCCC Candidates’ Tournament, provided that they have obtained a positive result
