SUPER-REGIONAL TOURNAMENT COMMISSION

Description

The Semi-Final tournament is the 3rd level of European and Rest of World Server Championship. Starting once per year in September. Semi-Final tournaments are offered via server playing methods. The winner and runner-up of a Semi-Final section (a positive score is required, rule 1.3.1) are entitled to one start in the Candidates' Tournament, regardless of rating. All sections will be played on the ICCF Server.

Multiple entries are allowed.

Entry

Entry into this tournament may be made via the ICCF Direct Entry system.

Size

Semi-Final sections typically consist of 13 players, but the Tournament Organiser shall have the power to change the number of players to 11, 15 or 17.

Qualifications

(a) a player rated 2300 to 2499 at the time of application.

(b) a player who finished 1st or 2nd in a European/RoW Championship Preliminary (a positive score is required, rule 1.3.1)  is entitled to one start in a European/RoW Championship Semi-Final.

Entries not later than the 10^th of September 2024
