8th WebChess Open - Semifinal ...

Tuesday, September 24, 2024: is now on the webserver

221 players, completing 17 groups will play the Semifinal of the 8th WebChess Open Tournament that will start on September 30^th.

Players are from 40 different countries.

It is a cat. 4 event, with an average rating of 2332 and with 193 titled players: 1 GM, 10 SIM, 33 IM, 116 CCM, 33 CCE.

Only the winners from each Semifinal group are entitled to play in the Final, provided they have obtained a positive result.

No player will qualify for more than one place in the final.

Each semifinal group winner will receive a 75 euro cash or voucher prize (prizes will be shared on equal points).

All prizes will be given only after the completion of the Semifinal Round.
