· Email improvements
o All email notifications are now sent with an HTML template.
o All email notifications are now in US-English (to officials), or are localized for the receiver (to players and team captains). The previous case where an email could contain a mix of languages, or formatting, should no longer be possible.
o The event registration email is now also sent to the ND.
o The event finished email is now also sent to the players, and in a team event to the team captains.
o The norm achieved email is now also sent to the MDs.
o The ETL email is now also sent to the player.
o The email that an event started with a suspended player is now also sent to the ND.
o The email that a game finished by the action of a player is now also sent to that player, if he has turned on notifications for his own moves in this game (e.g. the player agreed to a draw, resigned, played a move that caused mate or stalemate).
o The account rejected notification is now also sent to the ND or ZD.
o If the TD sets a result in a game, there is a new email notification to the TD (or the backup TD if the TD is on leave), the players, and the team captains (in a team event). This notification is similar to the notification when the game ends by player action, but it also contains the name of the TD who set the result (could be the backup TD, or a WTD), and it is always sent to the players, even if they have turned off notifications for moves.
o The player who notifies his opponent and the TD about his extended reflection time now also gets a copy of that notification.
· Captcha
o The API address of the captcha was changed from Recaptcha to Google, because the SSL certificate on the Recaptcha site has expired, and therefore the captcha was not displayed when using SSL (Recaptcha was bought by Google several years ago).
· List of title tournaments:
o The QC and the RC have a new main menu item Administration/Title tournaments
o This leads to the new title tournaments screen, which shows a list of all title tournaments.
- Changes to title screen: The text and links were updated.
- Games archive: The games archive is now created in a background process.
- Rating correction procedure: The rating correction procedure is now run in a background process.
- Commercial mailings: There are now separate templates for mailings about tournaments and commercial mailings.
