Server Update 22 March 2015

Sunday, March 22, 2015: The server was updated this morning to correct some issues introduced by the 16 March Update

Players are now alerted to messages in completed games by those games appearing in their "Action Required" games list. Unfortunately it was necessary to omit this feature from the earlier release because of performance problems, however this issue has now been addressed, and it should now be much easier to track messages from your opponents once the games are complete.

Unfortunately it has been necessary to temporarily remove messaging from the XFCC protocol (for example for players using ChessBase or Aquarium); you should be alerted that there are new messages, but the content of the message will not be available. We will enhance the XFCC service to include full rich messaging later this year.

We've also added a disclaimer message to the photo upload page and fixed a number of other minor bugs and issues.
